IBM W3DS
At VSA Partners in NYC, I helped create W3DS, an internal IBM design system. This system provides guidelines and tools for quickly building websites and apps. As the senior designer, I oversaw other designers, established workflows, designed components, and assessed needs to develop a motion UI system connected to code. I also created sample sites to push design limits and produced marketing materials to showcase our work.
Senior Design / UX/UI
In the begining
At VSA Partners in NYC, my role in the creation of w3DS, an internal IBM design system, was a significant milestone in my career. This user interface framework, comprising an array of code patterns and visual tools, empowers teams to efficiently craft responsive websites and applications. By streamlining the design process, w3DS fosters a collaborative environment, enabling designers and developers to focus on innovation and creativity while adhering to a cohesive visual language. The sophistication of w3DS lies not only in its technical architecture but also in its ability to transform complex design challenges into elegant, user-friendly solutions. This project is a testament to the power of design systems in shaping the future of digital experiences.
Sample sites
As the senior designer on w3DS, IBM's design system, I led a talented team of designers to ensure our work aligned with project goals while improving our workflow. I designed flexible components and patterns for various applications, focusing on user needs and creating a motion UI system connected to code. This involved analyzing user interactions to guide our design strategy. I pushed design boundaries by creating sample sites that showcased our system's potential to enhance user experiences. I also produced presentation materials to communicate our progress and the value of our work to stakeholders, securing their support. My role combined leadership, problem-solving, and creative exploration, fostering innovation within IBM's design landscape.
