This section highlights various impressive and visually striking 3D work that has been meticulously created at NetApp over the years. Most of the projects involved extensive creative direction paired with skilled execution, showcasing the talents and innovative approaches of the artists involved.
Creative Direction / 3D
N-Logo
One notable new direction developed by the talented team at Prophet involved using the iconic N logo as a unique blank canvas, which allowed us to explore and create diverse artistic directions that effectively conveyed compelling ideas and concepts.
Gartner
Gartner is a company that helps businesses understand technology trends and make smart decisions. They create charts like the Magic Quadrant to rank companies and the Hype Cycle to show how new tech develops. Using 3D helps make these charts more interactive and easier to understand by adding depth and movement, which makes complex ideas clearer and more engaging. Below are some examples created for NetApp.
T3
When NetApp initially rebranded, for the first time in a long time, the creative direction was 3D and abstract, with the intention of creating metaphors for complex concepts. Below are several ideas for home page heros.
N-Bezels
NetApp has recently undertaken an exciting re-design of their hardware, showcasing stunning and iconic bezel color combinations that truly stand out. Inspired by this innovative approach, I envisioned the creative idea of adding these unique and captivating facades to the classic logo, transforming it into a striking 3D representation that enhances its visual appeal.
Flex Pod
I'm having a blast here with a whimsical, cartoony style, skillfully representing the innovative FlexPod software. With this creative approach, I crafted vibrant, colorful server contraptions that are both imaginative and eye-catching.
